Cover Acne With Makeup

Author: geraldnjuguna

Scars left behind from mild acne are easy to conceal, and cosmetics may be used to achieve this. However those deeper scars from severe acne may require medical attention to remove.

Makeup can be used to cleverly conceal acne or it's scars. However care should be taken to avoid cometigenic cosmetics which actually clog pores.

Makeup to hide easily concealable scars can act as a cheaper alternative to expensive scar removable treatments performed by a dermatologist. They can enhance appearance of the skin giving it an even look and a brighter, clearer complexion.

Makeup to specifically hide acne is available, though ordinary makeup works just as well if applied correctly. As usual, care should be taken to select makeup that won't harm your skin. Non-comategenic, non-greasy cosmetics are better
for acne.

Powders act as modifiers and are best for oily skin and help control the amount of oil on the face. Numerous foundations and powders are also available for people with sensitive skin.

Many makeup products are designed to serve dual purpose of beautification and care of the skin. Since most acne scars usually lighten over time, it might not be necessary to use makeup to hide them after some time.

Like stated earlier, it is important to choose makeup, or powders that won't harm the skin and further aggravate the acne condition. Choosing the wrong products might make your face to burn or itch.

Hiding scars using makeup should be done carefully.Doing it wrongly might draw attention to the scars instead of hiding them. Shades that suit your skin tone should be used to achieve an even finish.

Concealers can be used to cover acne if makeup isn't working for you. It can be used to cover blemishes and help reduce appearance of acne.
